As the coach of our church softball team, I am always appreciative of players that have fun and try hard and want to win. Our newest teammate, Carl just joined us this season. He played baseball (pitched) for Harding so I knew he'd be a good addition, but I never suspected he would be the man he is taking a line drive off the leg from the pitching rubber. You could tell it hurt, but he didn't flinch too much (I would have fallen over in pain) and I can usually take a punch.
