There really isn't much to get fired up about the Ranger season at this point. (for the average fan) It's fun to watch all the young guys we have going out there, and our farm system is looking like it could be one of the 10 best in baseball. (I could talk about that more, but I won't with the risk of lulling some of you to sleep) So I can get fired up about that, they are fun to watch at this point, just wish they were in a race...
I sure didn't think they would be the lead on Sportscenter last night because they scored 30 runs in one game! With all these young guys, amazing. It's the most runs scored since 1897! Some parks didn't even have fences at that time.
A couple wild notes.
The 8 and 9 hitters had 7 rbi's and 2 HRs each.
4 players had 4 or more RBIs (first time since 1979)
Every starter had 2 hits and scored once.
The last 3 runs were scored with 2 outs in the 9th on a HR
They only scored in 4 of the 9 innings....
In one game there are 27 outs, they scored 30
Our best player, Michael Young, had 0 RBI..weird.
And what's funny is that the Baltimore Ravens NFL team has not given up 30 points since week 12 of 2005!! haha. At least i'm not an Orioles fan!
They then scored 9 more in the second game of the double-header, and beat the record for most runs in a double header. Crazy stuff man.

I went to the game the next night hoping they would set another record by scoring 30 runs two nights in a row. They didn't.
